Do’s and Don’ts
PRIOR TO EYELASH EXTENSIONS

• Do not wear any eye makeup for last 24 hours before lash extensions.
• Get a patch test done before 48 hours to check any sensitivity.
• Use oil free make-up remover and clean your lashes properly.
• Do not use moisturiser before application.
• Do not curl/perm the lashes as this may hinder eyelash extensions application.
• Remove contact lenses before application.
• Set ample time for your appointment so you don’t feel rushed.
• Full set usually takes 45 to 90 minutes.

AFTER EYELASH EXTENSION

• Eyelash extensions last for 4-6 weeks if you look after them with extensive care.
• No water should contact the eyes for at least 12 hours after application.
• Only use 100% oil free make-up remover.
• No swimming,steam,spas,hot baths for at least 48 hours.
• Do not apply cream, cleansers to the eyelashes at any time.
• Do not use any mascara, if desired get an eyelash tint prior to treatment.

PRIOR TO WAXING

• Pre-wax exfoliation should be done 24-48 hours before waxing. Dry brushing every day in circular motions towards the heart is not just great for keeping the skin soft but it also helps to prevent in-grown hairs.
• Do not get waxing done if sunburnt or exposed to UV rays within last 12 hours.
• It could be more sensitive for some women during their periods or two days before so reschedule it for next time if this applies to you.
• Taking a bath or shower before your appointment will open up the pores and allow the hairs to come out less painfully.
• If you have a very low threshold on pain, take over the counter painkiller 20-30 minutes before your appointment.
• Wear loose comfortable clothing while going for the waxing, carry it on for a few hours afterwards. This will prevent irritation and allow the pores to breath.

AFTER WAXING

• Do not get hot bath or shower just after the waxing.

Apply good moisturiser after shower.

Tanning lotions, alkaline cosmetics, after-shave products containing alcohol and bars of soap leave a film on the body that could cause in-grown hairs. It is best to avoid these for at least 48 hours post-grooming.

BEFORE HENNA TATTOO

• Do not apply moisturiser to the area of semi permanent henna tattoo as it will not give the dark colour as it should be.

AFTER HENNA TATTOO

• Do not get wet the area for at least 12 hours to get the desired dark colour. Just scrape the henna off after it gets dry.
• Remember the colour will appear dark as the day one passes.

BEFORE FACIAL

• Remove any make-up before your appointment to spend the time getting facial done instead of wasting time in removing make-up.
• Remove contact lenses or bring case to keep the lenses if desired.
• If you have dark facial hairs or pigmentation, ask to apply bleach for best results.

AFTER FACIAL

• Avoid going under direct sunlight for 12 hours as the face becomes more sensitive after facial.
• Do not use any face wash or soap on face for few days to get best results.
• The effect of facials shows few days later as the rejuvenation and regeneration process occurs.

• Don’t put eye makeup specifically waterproof mascara before 24 hours.
• Don’t get it done less than 6 weeks interval.
• Remove contact lenses if using one before coming to your appointment.

After eyelash lift

• Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing.
• Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs.
• Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.
• Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift.
• No eye make up for 24 hours.
• Avoid waterproof mascara’s.
• Dry them quickly and brush them every time you wet it to maintain its shape for longer.

Prior to Brow lamination

• Don’t put any strong products on eyebrows before 24 hours of your treatment.
• Don’t get it done less than 6 weeks interval. After brow lamination

After brow lamination

• Be gentle with your eyebrows, no rubbing and playing with them.
• Do not get your eyebrows wet for the first 24 hrs.
• Do not use harsh products on your eyebrows.
• Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift.
• No eyebrow make up for 24 hours.
• Brush it in desired shape every morning or after shower.
• Try to sleep on your in first 24 hours of doing it.
